The final conference presented the YELL products. It took place in Bologna, Italy, on 27th October 2011 and was a forum to present the activities of the last three years of the project. It was directed at everyone interested in raising awareness about and promoting language learning, including but not limited to:

• language centres,
• cultural and sport institutions,
• decision makers and public authorities from countries that have not been involved in the project.

This final conference promoted unconventional and fun methods of language learning for young people, and host discussions about the importance of language learning among the participants.
The programme of the day included talks from experts in languages and informal language learning techniques and partners from the YELL project.

The speakers focused on what motivates language learning, best practice in this area and specific examples of interesting and fun activities.
During the conference were also realized round table topics’ to look forward to, where participants had the chance to discuss implementation of the project activities in their own contexts. This was a great opportunity and space for participants to network and also to be creative. We hope the participants could take lots of ideas home with them and share them with their partners and stakeholders.
